Motorhome purchase? Done. Realisation that the long held dream is actually coming true? Priceless.
We were able to find a motorhome that ticked our boxes in late April on the Gold Coast. The beauty of a motorhome is, no matter where you find it, you instantly have accommodation for the journey back home.
And so we traveled from the Gold Coast, stopping at Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, and The Entrance. At this stage, I’d suggest you don’t ask us about the places, as while the scenery around us may have been changing, the real excitement was round a new, very big, very entertaining toy. Off fishing and you want a cup of tea? Sure, just pop in in home. In a strange place and a little stinky after going for a run? Just pop on in and have a shower in the middle or an otherwise very plain carpark. Bored of driving? Why not recline and catch up on a little TV before embarking again.
8 months until this thing becomes our only home…
